George Walnut Country Calf
Sons of Henrey George Split Toe Derby in Walnut Brown Country Calf. We source the leather from German tannery Weinheimer, and it might well be the finest printed grain calf available. The leather is first treated with cream before it is burnished to bring out the depth of the leather. Hand polished to what our Spanish factory calls a 'glasseado' finish.
You can wear these casually with jeans, or dressed up with light-colored chinos or dress pants.

Construction: Goodyear welted in Spain with genuine Dainite rubber sole and 3mm midsole. The Goodyear welt enables the shoe to be resoled. Leather board heel stiffeners and a cork footbed for added comfort.
Leather: Country calf from Weinheimer Leder Gmbh. During the finishing stage, the leather is brushed and burnished to bring out the luster in the leather. Unlike other country grain calf, this leather has a natural depth.
Last: Our Contemporary Almond last, with its slightly finer toe and more symmetric shape, is the ideal last for our Split Toe derby, and the elegant Wholecut Chelsea boot.
Fit: Fits true to size. We advise you to take the same size as you would in Carmina, Crockett & Jones or Justin Fitzpatrick, and to size down half a size from Edward Green or Gaziano and Girling.
Care: Brush your shoes after wearing them to remove dirt, and rotate your shoes between wears. We recommend using high quality, natural conditioner ever so often to keep the leather supple. Creams and waxes can be used to restore scuffs and polish the shoes to a luster.
