Blaine Wholecut Chelsea Boot Mink Brown Suede
One of last season's best sellers has returned, the Sons of Henrey Blaine Wholecut Chelsea boot. Previous customers appreciated the high quality suede, combined with the elegant wholecut pattern. This seaon, the same model has been made in Castorino Mink suede, a reverse suede from Italian tannery Conceria Zonta in a vibrant mid brown shade. Half rubber sole blends comfort and elegance.
Construction: Goodyear welted in Spain with half rubber sole. The Goodyear welt enables the shoe to be resoled. Leather board heel stiffeners and cork footbed for added comfort.
Leather: Our Mink Brown suede from Conceria Zonta is a reverse suede, which means that the reverse of the skin is used instead of a split skin. This results in a very high quality suede with tight grain.
Last: Our Contemporary Almond last, with its slightly finer toe and more symmetric shape, is the ideal last for our Split Toe derby, and the elegant Wholecut Chelsea boot.
Fit: Fits true to size. We advise you to take the same size as you would in Carmina, Crockett & Jones or Justin Fitzpatrick, and to size down half a size from Edward Green or Gaziano and Girling.
Care: High quality suede is easy to maintain. Simply brush your shoes after wearing them to remove dirt, and use a suede conditioner every now and then to clean and nourish the leather.

Contemporary Almond Last
Our Contemporary Almond last, with its slightly finer toe and more symmetric shape, is the ideal last for our Split Toe derby.
Reverse Mink Brown Suede
As opposed to the more commonly used 'split' suede, our Castorino suede from Conceria Zonta is what is called a 'reverse' seude. For this type of suede, the reverse of grade-A calf skin is used, resulting in the highest quality suede available.
