Demand from our customers far exceeds the supply, especially as the leather is scarce and takes more than 2 months  to tan. The iconic split toe derby, with its beautiful, fine stitched edge along the vamp and at the toe, will make you feel perfectly at ease both in a casual and business setting. Made from supple Ebony Utah calf with a genuine Dainite rubber sole, these shoes will quickly become one of your favourite pair of shoes. Made on the Contemporary Almond last, specifically designed for this model.

Construction: Goodyear welted in Spain with genuine Vibram studded rubber sole and bevelled edge. The Goodyear welt enables the shoe to be resoled. Leather board heel stiffeners  and cork footbed for added comfort.

Leather: Utah calf is truly unique. Only the finest hides are used, and a mixture of 9 different fats and oils are added to the leather, which gives Utah calf its famous suppleness.

Fit: The Contemporary Almond last fits true to size. We advise you to take the same size as you would in Carmina or Crockett & Jones, and to size down half a size from Edward Green or Gaziano and Girling.

Care: Brush your shoes after wearing them to remove dirt, and rotate your shoes between wears. We recommend to use a high quality, natural conditioner ever so often to keep the leather supple. Creams and waxes can be used to restore scuffs and polish the shoes to a lustre.
