Double Monk Walnut Museum
Sons of Henrey Double Monk in Walnut Museum calf, made on the Elegant Round last. The last features an elegant toe shape, tight waist and narrow heel. The shoes are made from supple Museum calf from Conceria Ilcea, and finished with nickel coloured buckles. Chestnut bark tanned leather sole.
Construction: Goodyear welted in Spain with single leather sole. The Goodyear welt enables the shoe to be resoled. Leatherboard heel stiffeners and cork footbed for added comfort.
Leather: Museum calf has a unique, hand applied finish that creates a special mottled effect. The leather has become very popular in recent years, and is now a true classic.
Last: The Elegant Round last is a more refined version of the well-known, traditional round last. With slightly more taper towards the tip and a distinctive toe profile, the Elegant Round last is a very handsome last.
Fit: We advise you to take the same size as you would in Carmina or Crockett & Jones, and to size down half a size from Edward Green or Gaziano and Girling.
Care: Brush your shoes after wearing them to remove dirt, and rotate your shoes between wears. We recommend to use a high quality, natural conditioner ever so often to keep the leather supple. Creams and waxes can be used to restore scuffs and polish the shoes to a lustre.
